The design and execution of lighting projects for sports facilities must not only ensure optimal visibility levels but also minimize environmental impact, especially in nearby natural areas. In this project, the goal was to meet Class II lighting standards while also addressing the need to reduce light pollution, ensuring that the surrounding natural environment remained unaffected.
To achieve this goal, innovative RS series optics with AAA-LUX technology were used, allowing for optimized light distribution focused solely on the field, without spilling into surrounding areas. Thanks to this advanced solution, the lighting levels required by Class II standards were successfully reached, delivering a spectacular result on the sports field, while the surrounding forest remained completely dark. This balance between efficient lighting and respect for the natural environment was made possible by the precision of the new optics, which concentrate the light more effectively, minimizing light pollution and helping preserve darkness in nearby natural spaces.
