Improving lighting in sports facilities is key to optimizing practice conditions and ensuring greater safety for users. In this project, an upgrade of the existing lighting system was proposed, with the goal of achieving higher levels of brightness and uniformity, in accordance with the specific requirements of the sport being practiced in the space.
The intervention focused on upgrading the existing lighting system to reach a level of 230 lux, ensuring consistent and adequate visibility for athletes, even under the most demanding conditions. Additionally, a target uniformity of 0.75 was set to guarantee that light is evenly distributed across the entire surface, eliminating any shadowed areas that could affect performance. To achieve these goals, advanced technological solutions were implemented and the layout of the lighting equipment was optimized, resulting in a brighter and safer environment. With this upgrade, not only were the brightness levels increased, but there was also a significant improvement in lighting quality, supporting sports practice under ideal conditions.
