El Vendrell Municipal Athletics Track
Proper lighting of sports facilities is essential to ensure optimal performance and adequate safety for athletes. In this context, the athletics track in question has been equipped with a state-of-the-art lighting system that meets the necessary standards for proper operation, even under demanding conditions.
On the athletics track, which features columns inside, a total of 36 projectors of 1550 watts each have been installed. This powerful lighting setup easily meets the levels required by Class II standards, ensuring excellent visibility for athletes, even during night competitions or under low natural light conditions. The strategic arrangement of the projectors, combined with their high performance, not only optimizes visibility but also enhances athlete safety by preventing potential accidents and facilitating the clear perception of the track lines and other key elements of the circuit.
