Pabellón Rita Hernandez - Telde, Canarias

For the 2020 Queen’s Cup Final, held in Telde (Gran Canaria), a comprehensive renovation of the lighting system at the Rita Hernández Pavilion was carried out, with the goal of ensuring optimal conditions for this highly significant event. Since the match was to be broadcast on television, it was essential to have high-quality lighting that met the demanding visibility standards for both spectators and the broadcast.

To achieve this, 40 LUG Cruiser Arena 398W floodlights were installed—state-of-the-art technology that enabled exceptional lighting levels. An average of 2,000 lux was achieved for horizontal lighting and 1,500 lux for vertical lighting, levels more than sufficient for high-definition broadcasting. This powerful setup not only improved visibility on the court but also provided an outstanding visual experience for both players and the audience.

Thanks to this lighting system upgrade, the Rita Hernández Pavilion was fully prepared to host such an important event, meeting the technical requirements for television broadcasts and offering a top-tier sports experience.
