Custom LED Lighting Design Enhances Sustainability and Performance

Previously, the baseball field of Mitchell Majors Baseball Club in Broadford, Victoria, struggled with outdated Metal Halide lamps on existing poles. This resulted in sub-optimal lighting conditions and failure to meet the Australian standard to allow on-field training. Need for improvement, then, if you want to play at a higher league level. This is where we and our partner Positive Electrical came around the corner!

Seamless Transition to AAA-LUX LED System

We proposed a custom design consisting of the AAA-LUX InControl Lighting Management System with only 22 luminaires to meet 300 lux on the infield, and 200 lux on the outfield. The use of a minimal number of LED lights emphasises sustainability and energy efficiency. This achieved the required lux levels for both training and club competitions. The AAA-LUX InControl Lighting Management System also provided flexibility for future upgrades.

LIGHT STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS EXCEDEED

Both Mitchell Majors Baseball Club, the local authority and the engineers involved were extremely positive about the improved lighting conditions. Users and spectators also expressed satisfaction, with the new installation exceeding standards for training and match play.
