Founded in 2009, AAA-LUX has come a long way from its humble beginning to becoming a prominent player in its industry. Over the years, the company has reached significant milestones, each one marking a step forward in its journey of growth and innovation. AAA-LUX identifies a niche in the market and starts to design and develop high-power LED solutions.

The first AAA-LUX retrofit LED luminaires light up a sports field, setting a new standard for energy-efficient, high-performance lighting.

AAA-LUX LED luminaires achieve international standards to illuminate their first tennis court and hockey field worldwide. In the meantime, they introduce their wireless solution to control remotely AAA-LUX luminaires on the sport fields.

AAA-LUX floodlights are approved for sport fields illumination by KIWA ISA-Sport, an international certification that ensures sports equipment meets high standards of quality, safety and performance.
Technological growth and international expansion
In the 2010s, AAA-LUX has gradually developed its technological potential, enabling it to take on increasingly ambitious projects and establish its presence internationally.

AAA-LUX has enhanced lighting with projects like illuminating aprons at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. They introduced a 360-degree LED floodlight using just one luminaire and implemented wireless remote management for large and industrial areas. Additionally, a remote control system for a project in Malta can now be managed from the Netherlands.
AAA-LUX celebrated its 100th project milestone, completed its first installation of 200 LED floodlights, and illuminated the 2013 European Hockey Championship. The company also carried out an installation at the stadium of Belgium’s Hoogstraten FC football club.
AAA-LUX illuminated a railway marshalling yard in the Port of Rotterdam and achieved sufficient lighting at a 45m height at the Reitlanden Terminal in the Port of Amsterdam.
AAA-LUX developed stadium luminaires with the highest long-distance reach worldwide, enabling live TV broadcasting under LED for international football and Olympic qualification games. The company also illuminated the UEFA Level B Kadrioru Football Stadium in Tallinn, Estonia.
AAA-LUX achieved a technological milestone with 170,000 lumens from a single LED luminaire, the highest worldwide. The company also introduced new lens technology, providing under 1-to-1 replacement and reducing the number of fixtures needed compared to traditional 2kW systems.
AAA-LUX illuminated the Swiss Tennis Arena (Roger Federer Allee) for HDTV in Switzerland. The company also achieved ISO 14001 and 9001 certifications and released GEN6. AAA-LUX entered the Australian market.
AAA-LUX illuminated Premier League stadiums Everton FC Finch Farm and Aston Villa FC in England, as well as UEFA Level D stadiums Almere City Stadium and RKC Waalwijk Stadium in the Netherlands. The company also lit up Schalke04 Berger Feld in Germany and the Emirates Golf Dubai for the Night Golf Professional Tour in the UAE.
AAA-LUX illuminated the SK Sturm Graz Training Center in Austria’s Bundesliga.

Opening new opportunities in the coming decade
The 2020s began strong with the opening of AAA-LUX's headquarters in Australia. This decade will also be marked by significant technological advancements in our lighting solutions, while international expansion continues to strengthen.
AAA-LUX has marked several key achievements, including the illumination of the Astoria Walldorf Stadium in Germany, the UEFA Level D FC Utrecht Training Center in the Netherlands, and Tehvandi Stadium in Estonia for the European Championship IUC Eurosport. The release of GEN7 further highlights our innovation, while AREALUX rebranded to AAA-LUX Australia, establishing its new headquarters for Asia.
AAA-LUX has successfully illuminated three UEFA stadiums in the Netherlands: Heracles Almelo Stadium (Level B), Telstar SC Stadium (Level D), and Sparta Rotterdam – Het Kasteel (Level C). We also illuminated the Hoffenheim Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion in Germany and a UEFA Level B Stadium in Slovakia, the Banska Bystrica Stadium.
AAA-LUX has illuminated the PEC Zwolle Max3Park Stadium in the Netherlands and proudly established a headquarter in Dubai, Middle East to expand our global presence.
AAA-LUX has illuminated two UEFA stadiums in the Netherlands: ADO The Hague Stadium (Level D+) and FC Utrecht Stadium (Level B). We’ve also lit up major stadiums across Europe, including the Stade de l’Abbé Deschamps in Auxerre, France, Kadrioru Athletics Stadium in Estonia, and the Granollers Handball Arena in Spain.
AAA-LUX has illuminated the UEFA Level B Jablonec Stadium in the Czech Republic and the Yves du Manoir Stadium for the Paris Olympic Games in France. The release of GEN8 marks another significant advancement, while VisLuminis rebranded as AAA-LUX Spain, becoming the official branch of AAA-LUX in Spain.
