55% Energy Savings at stadium Galgenwaard
At FC Utrecht’s stadium Galgenwaard, the traditional gas discharge lamps were nearing the end of their lifespan, causing the light output to almost fall below the KNVB standards. FC Utrecht needed to take action to maintain their KNVB license and decided to replace the outdated gas discharge lamps with our advanced LED fixtures. As a result, FC Utrecht would achieve an impressive 55% energy savings.
120 Advanced LED Fixtures Ensure UEFA Compliance
Our installation included 120 durable LED fixtures, replacing the 192 conventional stadium lights. We transformed the stadium from 192 gas discharge lamps of 2200 watts to 120 LED fixtures of 1550 watts. The use of dimmable LED lighting allows for more efficient energy consumption and results in significant savings on energy costs. Additionally, each fixture is equipped with control cables that enable them to respond at the speed of light and on command. Our ‘Showtime feature’ allows for the programming of various light scenes, resulting in breathtaking light shows.
We are proud to have equipped Stadium Galgenwaard with our sustainable fixtures, ensuring the stadium now meets UEFA Level B standards. Our LED lighting not only puts the team in a better spotlight but also contributes to significantly lower energy consumption. The lighting replacement has greatly improved visibility for both the audience and players. A result we are proud of!
