High-Performance LED Lighting Solutions for Sports Facilities
Sportpark Eikeli in Bærum near the Norwegian capital Oslo, is a recently developed sports complex. In 2019, Øvrevoll Hosle IL (ØHIL) entered into an agreement with Bærum municipality, converting a gravel pitch near Jar into a permanent car park and ØHIL received the artificial grass pitch Eikeli in return. Later, a street basketball court and a small football pitch were also added to the complex, which was completed in November 2022.
MODERN LED SPORTS LIGHTING AT EIKELI SPORTS PARK
Eikeli Sports Park has been upgraded with a cutting-edge LED lighting system for sports facilities, ensuring high-quality illumination for multiple activities. The installation features six 12-meter-high steel masts, each equipped with two floodlights, providing uniform and efficient lighting for the 7-a-side football pitch at a lux level of 200. A similar lighting setup enhances the street basketball court, where a single floodlight ensures adequate visibility, as well as the 5-on-5 football pitch.
This advanced lighting system delivers optimal brightness for football and basketball, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for players and spectators alike. Equipped with modern LED technology and a smart control system, the lighting minimizes energy consumption while offering precise control to meet varying needs.
