Re-use infrastructure
The weight and wind surface parameters of our luminaires are close to those of the conventional luminaires. That means that we can re – use t he existing infrastructure, avoiding costly investments in new masts.
Cost of new masts
Thanks to our lightweight and low wind resistance designs, the price of new masts – if required – can reduce costs by approximately 10 – 20%. This cost is especially significant for larger structures, often more expensive than the luminaires themselves. Driver position
Another key cons ideration is remote drivers. While convenient for repairs, they come with hidden costs, including up to 300 euros for additional multicable, extra driver cabinets, and longer installation hours. Over a luminaire’s lifetime, a remote setup might save one tr ip out of every 20 for driver replacement, but periodic maintenance is still required. Inrush current
The surge of power when turning on light is often equal to 2 or 3 times the normal current. Unlike most of the lighting drivers, AAA LUX drivers peak is close to the nominal current, avoiding those costly surges. In new installations, this means substantial savings on electrical setup and grid con nection contracts. For existing setup, you don’t need to invest in extending the power of grid connection, which leads to substantial cost savings
