AAA-LUX has moved to a bigger and more sophisticated location in Eindhoven. The new location allows for further growth and enables AAA-LUX to bring all departments under one roof.
AAA-LUX has experienced a massive growth since it succeeded in illuminating a sportsfield according to the standard in 2009. Except for LED luminaires for sports facilities, AAA-LUX LED lighting is also used for illuminating large areas worldwide. This includes tennis courts, hockey and football fields as well as parkings, ports and airports in close to 40 countries.
“Our growth plans have always been ambitious, but the way we have grown in recent years in terms of organization and product portfolio has significantly gone faster than we expected,” admits AAA-LUX CEO Erik Swennen. In the past three years AAA-LUX has more than doubled its workforce to increase the capacity of its research and development team and the department that supports the sales team. “The new location at the Fijenhof in Eindhoven will allow each department to grow even futher while there is also more space to develop and introduce new technologies.”
AAA-LUX will also assemble its high power LED luminaires at the new location. “The assembly of LED fixtures is very complex and requires a dedicated a sophisticated environment. It is therefore a natural process that we have taken this back into our own hands. It will shorten the internal lines and will contribute to the employees’ commitment. That will undoubtedly translate into the quality of our LED luminaires.” Swennen also expects that by bringing all departments together, innovation and acceptance of AAA-LUX LED technology will be further improved. ”Technology is changing rapidly and new innovations are being introduced to the Supply Chain. Our environment allows us to test these new ideas and products and consider them for improving our products.”
